Sara Lee (Ayers) Beckworth

Sara Lee Beckworth was born in Rusk County on August 6, 1959 to Olevia Portley Todd-Ayers and James W. Ayers both parents preceded her in death, also preceded her in death two brothers MC McKinney and Mark Todd Jr.  Sara was baptized at Post Oak Christian Methodist Episcopal Church at an early age and graduated from Tatum High School in Tatum, TX.  Sara was a very devoted, loving, caring wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt to all. She made everyone feel right at home with her tasty dishes & speaking about how good God has been good to us…

Sara leaves to cherish her memory husband George Beckworth of Las Vegas, NV; 7 children Deidra Beckworth of Longview, TX, Emmery Beckworth, Robert Beckworth (Nesha), Marilyn Beckworth, Rachel Beckworth Syrovy (Louis), Sharon Beckworth, Beverly Beckworth all of Las Vegas, NV; 9 grandchildren; sister-in-law Erma Sue McKinney of Jasper, TX, sister in-law Joan Todd of Kilgore, TX, sisters and brothers Ara Lee Todd, Leroy Ayers (Avis), James Todd, Betty Todd, Larry Ayers (Georgia) of Longview TX, James Ayers (Evie) of Forney, TX, Oweida Reed (Willie), Amelia Arthur (Rayford), of Longview, TX; and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
