Frances Louise Patterson was born April 23, 1928, in Jefferson, TX. to the late Quinnie Patterson and the late Mariah Lane Patterson. Four brothers and three sisters preceded her in death. Her early years were spent in Dallas and Houston Texas. Upon completion of her education, she worked at Victory High School and Jefferson High School. She retired from her school employment after 28 years Frances united with St. Paul United Methodist Church at an early age and continued as a member until her health failed. She also attended Shady Grove Baptist Church where she was active in many programs when called upon. She was also an active worker in Marion County when called upon. Survivors include two sons William C. Patterson of Houston, Texas and Phillip E. Ivory of Marshall, Texas; one granddaughter Phyllis L. Ivory-Jordan of Longview, Texas; two great-grandchildren Joshua Jordan and Mackenzie Jordan both of Longview, Texas and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins. A very special friend Elder W. Phinus Duffie of Dallas, Texas.
