Services for Mrs. Costella Adams will be Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Union Grove First Baptist Church in Easton, Texas at 11:00 am. Burial will be at Prothro Cemetery in Easton, Texas. Costella Adams (Ma Dea), was born September 8, 1931 to Judkin and Nellie Robinson. She accepted Jesus Christ at an early age with the Union Grove First Baptist Church. She departed this life on Sunday, March 3, 2019. Ms. Adams was the First City Secretary of Easton, TX and worked at the Easton Gas System. In 2010, she received the Lifetime Achievement award for her many years of Dedicated Service to the City of Easton. She also was the Bookkeeper for the Easton Gas System for many years. Ms. Adams was preceded in death by Husband Everigester Adams Sr. and her daughter Scheketah Adams, sister Izora Harris and great-granddaughter Baylee Washington. She leaves to cherish her memory 7 children: Lillian Reeves, Rosalia Glaspie, Rosalyn Glaspie, Rodney Glaspie (Dorsay) all of Longview, TX, Tina Adams of Easton, TX, Everigester Adams Jr. (Regina) of Tatum, TX and Christopher Adams of Richardson, TX; 12 Grandchildren; 14 Great-Grandchildren; 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren; three sisters, Delores Crawford of Terrell, TX, Zepora Thomas of Dallas, TX, Lorretta Goree of Longview, TX; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of family and friends.
